Silent Vacuum Cleaner – Why They’re Hard To Find

If you’re like me, you hate loud sounds, especially loud sounds that Vacuum Cleaners make. But did you know that silent vacuum cleaners do exist?

Do you want to know the reason why silent vacuum cleaners are so hard to find?

It’s because no one wanted them. We’ll… no one in the USA wanted them.

Silent Vacuum Cleaners Do Exist

Yes, no one wanted a quiet vacuum cleaner in the USA, and only a few sell them here. In many European countries, they’re popular and just about all you see in homes.

One reason why quiet vacuums never took off was that people think that noise = power. But this is just not true.

A blower fan is much quieter than a box fan, but a blower fan can put out more airflow than the box fan. The same idea works for vacuum cleaners too.

The funny part is that these quiet vacuums from across the seas tend to be more powerful and better built than the models you buy at the super stores.

Where To Get Silent Vacuum Cleaners At?

The good news is that you can buy these quiet vacuum cleaners here in the USA. The bad news is that you won’t find them at your local Super Store.

The local Super Store doesn’t want to sell these as people are mistaken about NOISE equaling POWER. So they stick with the loud plastic machines that break every 3 years.

Instead, you must either buy these vacuums at a local vacuum store (they do still exist) or buy them online.

I’m personally a fan of Sebo Vacuums, but Electrolux, Miele, and Riccar are super fantastic too! You can’t go wrong with any of these. Here is another option for a quiet vacuum cleaner (Amazon Link Ad).

Completely Silent Vacuums

If you want an entirely silent vacuum cleaner, then you have two options. You can either get a Central Vacuum System for your home or buy a Brush Sweeper.

The Brush Sweeper is really not a Vacuum Cleaner, just a fancy broom — but it’s quiet!

A central vacuum system is actually kind of nice to have as many of those systems are very powerful. Click Here to see how much a Central Vacuum System Power Unit Cost.  (Amazon Link Ad)

I would recommend getting a professional to install any Central Vacuum System, but if you what to see what is involved here is a video…
